Morning Classes at Monkey Joe's, Savannah

Kudos on considering music classes for your child! Research has shown that we are all born with an aptitude for music, which tends to erode when not actively nurtured between birth and age nine.

Our class sessions and concerts are designed to nurture children's music aptitude by engaging them with their families in singing and movement activities which help attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop an ease with rhythmical movement and expression. Instrumental activities range from marking simple rhythms with sticks, chimes and drums, to singing and playing strings and keyboards from notation.

As you familiarize yourself with our offerings and learn more about the importance of active music-making to your baby's development, we look forward to answering your questions and welcoming your family into our stimulating world of musical expression.

Musikgarten is carefully formulated to follow newborns all the way through to group piano instruction at school age, adding skills progressively at each level of development. It is based on a keen understanding of how children learn in general, and, specifically, how they learn music.
